King QR provides a digital product — QR codes — that are delivered instantly upon purchase. Unlike physical goods that can be returned in their original condition, a digital product cannot be "returned" once it has been created, downloaded, and potentially printed or distributed.

When you purchase a King ($29 USD) or Empire ($70 USD) tier, you immediately receive access to dynamic QR code features. These features allow you to generate, download, and distribute QR codes that are active and functional from the moment of creation. Because the value is delivered instantly and cannot be revoked without affecting materials you may have already printed, all sales are final.

2. Free Tier — Try Before You Buy

We encourage all users to take advantage of our free Queen tier before making any purchase. The free tier includes:

• Unlimited static QR codes
• Full customization (colors, patterns, logos, frames)
• Download in PNG and SVG formats
• Basic VCard and URL QR types

This allows you to fully evaluate the quality and functionality of our platform at no cost before deciding to upgrade. We want you to be confident in your purchase.

3. What You Receive Upon Purchase

When you purchase a paid tier, you receive:

• Lifetime ownership of your dynamic QR codes — no recurring fees
• The ability to edit your QR code destination at any time without reprinting
• Access to premium QR types (Linktree, Menu, full VCard with social links)
• Advanced analytics and tracking
• All future feature updates at no additional cost

These benefits are delivered immediately and remain active for the lifetime of your account.

4. Exceptional Circumstances

While all sales are final, we may consider exceptions in rare circumstances at our sole discretion, such as:

• Duplicate or accidental charges (technical billing errors)
• Service outages that prevent access to purchased features for an extended period
• Unauthorized transactions (with appropriate documentation)

5. Chargebacks

We strongly encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company. Filing a chargeback for a legitimate purchase may result in:

• Deactivation of all QR codes associated with your account
• A chargeback fee being applied to the disputed amount

We are committed to resolving any legitimate concerns directly and fairly. Please give us the opportunity to address your issue before pursuing a chargeback.

6. Currency and Pricing

All prices are listed in USD. Payments are processed through Stripe with automatic currency conversion for international customers. Due to exchange rate fluctuations, the charged amount in your local currency may differ slightly from the listed USD price. King QR is not responsible for any differences due to exchange rate changes or bank conversion fees.

7. Canadian Consumer Rights

This policy is designed to comply with Canadian consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Protection Act (Ontario) and similar provincial legislation. Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable law.

If you believe your consumer rights have been violated, you may contact your provincial consumer protection office or the Competition Bureau of Canada.
